Washing hands fights superbugs

Seriously has been visiting schools across Leeds to teach children about the importance of antibiotics and why if we don’t act now, they could stop working in the future. Below is the key information the children learnt in their session.

Here are three ways we can all help to keep antibiotics working:

Washing hands icon
Stop bacteria from spreading by always washing your hands properly.

Bottle icon
Take care of yourself when you’re feeling unwell by drinking water and getting lots of sleep.

Tablets icon
Only take antibiotics as prescribed by your doctor – and always finish your course!

It’s vital that we take antibiotics correctly to ensure they continue to work for future generations.
